Inclusivity Day

inclusivity day banner

Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion of race, ethnicity, ability, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, religious or political beliefs is a strategic move that enhances your company's culture and competitiveness in today's dynamic business landscape.

Embracing a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive workplace creates an environment where all employees feel valued and empowered, and builds a strong foundation for collaboration, employee satisfaction, and overall business success.

Inclusivity Day will be an interactive discussion about why we (small businesses, municipalities, community leaders, individuals) can no longer view inclusive belonging and inclusive practices as "nice to haves/do". If we as businesses and communities want to be competitive and socially responsible, we need to educate and raise awareness of inclusive belonging practices.

Inclusivity Day will do just that, through interactive learning and engagement.

Inclusivity Day is supported by Bank of America and Bangor Savings Bank.

For the past two years, Marnita’s Table, in partnership with the NH Endowment for Health, catalyzed a bottom up Trust-making initiative through its proprietary model of Intentional Social Interaction (“IZI”)! Through these participatory community building efforts IZI inspired a diverse group of Granite Staters from around the state, including Keene, Manchester, Nashua, Berlin, and Laconia, to practice and sustain Intentional Social Interaction to achieve inclusive belonging.

With support from the CARES Act and the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP), we were able to launch NH SBDC’s Inclusivity Commitment. We have focused our outreach and program efforts in Southern NH communities with a goal of serving even more BIPOC and New American businesses through individualized business advising and education.
