The Pathway to Micro program offers unemployed or under-employed individuals the opportunity to launch a micro business (1-5 employees) of their own. Participants get confidential, highly individualized business assistance at no cost. Specialized education is offered through the Micro Business Collaborative.

There is no one blueprint for owning a small business. Whether you’re an artist, a landscaper, an aspiring consultant or an HVAC expert, SBDC advisors can help you achieve your dream of starting a business. Also, SBDC offers dozens of eCourses and webinars focused on starting and managing a business.
It's hard to think of a business more essential in terms of communicating vital news and information to the public. SBDC made it all seem possible. At SBDC, there was always someone I could reach out to. It was like a trust walk with SBDC that I was on the right path.
