NH SBDC 2020 Impact Report

We will remember 2020 for the unexpected challenges that tested us in a way no one could have ever imagined.

We will also remember 2020 for bringing out the best in all of us, pulling us together with that distinctly New Hampshire spirit of community and helpfulness.

Thanks to the support from our federal, state, and local partners, the SBDC helped 7,178 businesses through this pandemic—the worst economic event in the modern era—to not only survive, but in many cases, thrive.

Take a look at how the SBDC was able to pivot and adapt to client needs in 2020 in the programs and services section.

When businesses across the country were closing their doors in 2020, the SBDC worked with Granite State entrepreneurs to:

  • increase their sales by $9.5 million
  • create and save 1,301 jobs
  • raise $45.1 million in new capital.

Read about a few of SBDC's clients that found innovative ways to keep their doors open and staff working.

Our team, with over 200 years of small business ownership and advising experience, worked with clients from every corner of the state. SBDC has a total annual impact on the New Hampshire economy of $166M. As one of our clients recently said, SBDC is the business stimulus package.
