Expanding SBDC’s impact on New Hampshire’s small businesses through collaboration to develop and manage educational programs, and communicate SBDC’s work across the state.
Imagine if every small business in NH knew about the no-cost resources SBDC offers. While it’s a hefty goal, Heidi Edwards Dunn is proudly chipping away at it each day as the Education and Communications Director for SBDC.
Driven by the call to work for an organization that’s making a difference, Heidi works with colleagues and subject matter experts to curate, develop, and manage free education resources for NH’s small businesses. She also collaborates with community partners to spread the SBDC message and reach more people.
Heidi is continuously proud and impressed by the work of SBDC’s team of business advisors, recognizing the difference they are making for small businesses. She loves that through her work developing education programs and marketing SBDC to the state, she gets to be a part of that.
Prior to working for SBDC, Heidi worked with many organizations that serve artist entrepreneurs and owned an events management company. Her involvement in small business development has been awarded with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2009 SBDC Service Excellence and Innovation Center of the Year Award, as well as the NH Business and Industry Association’s 2013 Above and Beyond Award.
