Scott Stephens works with NH SBDC clients in Grafton County, aiding them with his extensive background in management, marketing, sales, design, manufacturing, and hospitality. Most recently, Scott served as executive director of the Central NH Chamber of Commerce after its formation by the uniting of several chambers in the area that included the Plymouth Regional Chamber of Commerce, which Scott had previously led for 5 years.
Prior to this experience, Scott started a graphic design and marketing company, managed and designed for a cabinet design firm, did marketing and sales for a custom ornamental ironworks fabrication shop, and was the Art Director at Organic Garden Magazine. Scott has also teamed up with his wife to co-own and run the B&B Colonel Spencer Inn in Campton, NH, which they restored and reopened in 2006.
In his community, Scott was the founding co-director of Leadership Central NH, an organization developed to cultivate civic awareness and engagement among existing and emerging leaders within the Central NH region. Currently, he is a Board Trustee on the Mayhew Project and Board Member at the Mid-State Health Center. Scott is a graduate of Pennsylvania’s Kutztown University where he earned a BFA.
