Angel Investment Groups

The New Hampshire SBDC has been active in establishing and supporting private seed capital formation in the form of Angel Investment Groups.

Angel capital is the funding that fills the gap between friends, families and fools (known as the 3 Fs) funds and venture capital financing that historically ranged between $500,000 and $2,000,000. Recently venture capitalists have been focusing on larger deals creating another capital funding gap between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. While angel capital does typically provide all of the funds in the new gap, it can provide a significant component. For New Hampshire, most of the angel funding is in the $100,000 to $500,000 range..

To date, the NH SBDC has been involved with the formation of two angel groups. More information and forms to submit your business idea are available on each groups web site.
